Nicholas J. Hennemann is a member of the Estate Planning and Business Practice groups at Abrahams Kaslow & Cassman. With more than 15 years of legal experience, Nick advises individuals, families, business owners, fiduciaries, and nonprofit organizations on estate and succession planning, business transactions, real estate matters, and probate and trust administration.

Nick’s background includes private practice, business ownership, government service, and nonprofit leadership. Before joining AKC, he founded and operated his own law firm. Previously Nick has worked in various roles at firms in Washington, D.C., Wisconsin, and Oregon. He has negotiated multimillion-dollar agreements and counseling clients through significant financial, operational, and long-term planning decisions and succession management.

Drawing on this broad experience, Nick helps clients develop practical, tax-conscious strategies to preserve wealth, provide for future generations, protect beneficiaries, and transition family and business assets. He also advises businesses on entity governance, contracts, acquisitions and dispositions, and ownership succession. His approach emphasizes careful planning, clear communication, and solutions tailored to each client’s objectives.

In his free time, Nick and his wife, Millie, and their six children participate in and lead charitable, community, humanitarian, and faith-based work in the United States and abroad.
