Josie earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in Journalism and Advertising, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and received the Edward R. Murrow Award for Journalism. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, graduating with an emphasis in Estate Planning. While in law School, Josie was involved in Law Review , the Association of Women Law Students, and the Student Bar Association Election Committee. She clerked at multiple firms in the Kansas City area before joining AKC Law after passing the Nebraska Bar.
