Kathryn (Katie) A. Glissman is a partner with the firm and a member of the business department. Katie joined the firm in 2012. She focuses her practice on energy and construction law, corporate and commercial transactions and real estate matters.

In her energy and construction law practice, Katie advises clients through all stages and aspects of the construction, ownership and operation of power plant projects in the gas, solar and wind industries, from term sheets and RFPs to complex engineering, procurement and construction agreements, equipment purchase contracts, operation and maintenance agreements and long term parts and services agreements. Her experience includes advising clients on, and drafting and negotiating contracts for, projects in the hundreds of millions of dollars to billion dollar range.

Katie also provides general business advice to clients on a wide variety of matters, including entity formation, corporate governance, purchase and sale transactions and day-to-day operational issues. She also assists clients in residential, commercial and agricultural real estate transactions, including purchase and sale deals, leasing matters, and development and construction projects.

Katie received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Morningside College in 2008 and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law in 2012. During law school, Katie served as the Editor in Chief of the Creighton Law Review. She is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association.
